Sweet violet, red clover & raspberry smoothie

This beautiful breakfast smoothie is delish, sweet and healing. Besides being a delight to the senses, the common wild violet is a nutritional and medicinal powerhouse. There are dozens of species of violet, in various colours that include blue, purple, white, and yellow (all of which are edible and safe, cool hey!). Ingredients

  • 1 fair trade banana
  • 1/2 cup of organic frozen or fresh raspberries 
  • 1 cup organic Bio Farm Bush Honey probiotic, hand-crafted yoghurt
  • 4 violet leaves (flowers too if you have them)
  • 4 clover blossoms, leaves, stems (the lot)
  • 4 dandelion flowers or leaves
  • 1/2 cup water.

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients together in a blender and blitz!
