This is so delish & easy! It's a basic raw chocolate recipe (equal parts raw cacao powder and organic coconut oil with as much raw honey as you like). On this occasion we have added violet leaves and flowers, and a pinch of pink salt. It lives happily in the freezer for a quick choccy fix - give it a whirl with whatever edible flowers, fruit, seeds or nuts you have to hand. Besides being a delight to the senses, all species of the common wild Violet are edible and a nutritional and medicinal powerhouse! Violet leaves and flowers are loaded with vitamins and minerals, especially C and A, they have a sweet tangy flavour and they are a gorgeous addition to your salads or desserts. Next time you are out wondering, why not take a few moments to gather some wild Violets?
