Its a doddle to whip up and total indulgence. For all you 'salted caramel' fans this will make you SMILE. OMG is all we can say, you have to try it for yourself!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup macadamia nut butter or almond, lightly warmed
- 2 tbsp dried coconut flakes or threads
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey
- pinch of Himalayan pink salt
- In a saucepan place a handful of roasted macadamia nuts, roughly chopped and combined with a splash of water, big pinch of coconut sugar and pink salt, warm to coat.
Method
- Line a baking tray with paper. Combine the oil, nut butter, coconut, maple syrup and salt in a bowl.
- Spread on the tray and sprinkle with the sweet and salty macadamias.
- Freeze for about 20mins, then snap into shards.
- Store either in the freezer or in an airtight container in the fridge, as the shards will melt if left out at room temperature. Yum!
